This Months Beauty Box 5 features something for the Hair, Eyes, Face and Nails! There were two things that I was actually excited about in this months box, the Makeup Remover Pad and the Elizabeth Mott “So Big Volumizing Mascara”.
The Every Beauty Makeup Remover Pad contains Argan Oil Extract. These are kind of neat because they don’t become activated until you wet them. The only downside is that if you need a face wipe and you don’t have any water well, you’re kind of out of luck. 50 pads retail for $6.99 which is a pretty good deal.
This box also contained two samples of the John Frieda Luxurious Volume Touchably Full Shampoo and Conditioner. This line is touted to be perfect for all hair types. My box contained a sample for color treated hair. Hmm.. I wonder how they knew lol. The box also contained a manufacturer’s coupon to get $2 off a Luxurious Volume Styling Product. These products retail for $6.99.
Rock Star Nails and Nail Sprinkles caught my eye also however, there is no way I can wear the sprinkles in a laboratory setting. I can just see the little beads contaminating an experiment even though I’m wearing gloves. The set retails for $14.99 which is kind of steep IMO. The Elizabeth Mott It’s So Big Volumizing Mascara sample is the one product I can’t wait to try. I love a good Mascara so I’m wondering how this one will hold up to my precious Benefit’s “They’re Real”. A 0.33fl oz tube of this mascara will set you back about $20 so I definitely hope it’s worth it.
The Beauty Box 5 subscription boxes retail for $12 a month and come with full and sample sized products. I’m honestly still on the fence about this Beauty Box and it’s worth. While $12 put it at one of the lowest cost subscription boxes out there, I’m still on leaning towards the box not really being worth it. That is unless you want a monthly surprise which is definitely what this box will give you.
