Eat the Tikka Anna Mae!
I’ve never been a big fan of Indian food. This was not due to the fact that I ate something unpleasant but I think more so due to the fact that when I was introduced to it, it wasn’t in a “here try this” type of way but more so in a too much at one time kinda deal. I hadn’t had Indian food in years and so when my lab buddies said they were going out for Indian the other day I was all like “oh yall have fun”. 20 minutes later I suprisingly I ended up sitting at the table pouring over the menu trying to make heads or tales of different food items. Several of the ingredients I knew very well because I used tons of them in my natural hair concoctions. It was a toss up between the Butter Chicken or the Tikka Masala Chicken. I went with the Tikka and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was and how now I actually want more.
I can just say no.
You all know I am a recovering purse hoarder collector. The Brahmin Tent Sale is next week but we’re up here in MA for conference a little early and so I’ll miss the Tent Sale. I decided that I would stop by the outlet store in search of a Duxbury Satchal. That’s all I wanted, nothing more nothing less, and if they didn’t have the bag I would leave empty handed. When we got to the store they had three Duxbury all in weird colors that wouldn’t be worth the money because I’d never get good wear out of them. They also had marvelous sales on other items. I’ll be honest, it was like being a weed addict in one of those newly legalized weed stores. I wanted to take something home with me soooo bad. However, I walked out empty handed. #growth
Change is Good
The tips of my hair keep fading and it’s proving to super annoying and frustrating. I decided the funky colors would have to go and so I went to Sally’s and purchased some “Natural Black” hair dye and a color filler that’s supposed to help the color adhere to your hair. Surprisingly my hair looks 1000x’s healthier then it did when it was those funky colors and I got to try out a new hair twisting gel that I learned I love. #score
