It Cosmetics Radiance Palette- Get it for the Blush!

Product provided for review.

Let me set the stage. You see an amazing beauty product in the store, I mean the packaging alone has you sold, and everyone is raving about it. You pick it up, take it home, and can’t wait to try it out, only to find that well only one out of the three colors in the palette actually work for you and you’ve now spent “X” amount of dollars on a palette which is only 1/3 usable. This scenario often happens when it comes to women of color. Let’s be honest; most beauty products that are made aren’t marketed to us. We’d love to take part, but it seems like most times when we talk up to the table there’s that God awful “You can’t sit with us” message being sent. This is how I felt with the new It Cosmetics CC+ RADIANCE PALETTE.

It Cosmetics Radiant Palette

The It Cosmetics CC RADIANCE PALETTE $38 offers up a color correcting brightening powder, matte blush, and a matter bronzer. What intrigued me about the palette was the Color Corrector. If you look closer you see specks of lavender and green which are color correctors on their own. While I wasn’t sure how this could be used as a highlighter AND a color corrector, I decided to give it a go. Let me break it down for ya! It Cosmetics Radiant Palette

It’s hard for me to describe my skin tone. I guess I’m a medium brown, NC45 in MAC and Macao in Nars. The Color Corrector Brightening finishing powder used as a highlighter was an appalling look for me. I mean so bad you’d think that I forgot to blend out my translucent powder, and the paparazzi caught me slipping. I could see the luminescence and sheen, but overall it was not playing on my team.

The Matte Bronzer could very well look lovely on someone who is a few shades lighter however on myself it blended right in with my skin tone, and you couldn’t even tell it was there.

Now my favorite part of this palette is the Flush Blush. Honey, let me tell ya that thang is gorgeous! It reminds me of the Make Up For Ever Coral HD Blush and one of the Milani Flower Blushes. Of Course, coral is the universal color when it comes to skin tone but on a woman of color this shade really stands out.

It Cosmetics Radiant Palette

This palette would look great on a lighter complexions, but anyone who is my range, and above would probably need to pass on it. Unless, you could get the Flush Blush on its own, and then by all means do so!

Have you tried out the It Cosmetics RADIANCE PALETTE? If so what are your thoughts? Love it or Leave it?

That blush is great on you! I bet the other two shades would work for shadows, too!

That blush really does look amazing on you! I hope IT comes out with more of these trios to flatter more skintones… and also I need to play with more shades because I love this one!

See, this is why I love seeing different comparisons on different skin tone. The blush is good on me with a very light touch, but it really looks great on your skin tone with more build up than what I probably used.

That blush looks amazing on you! Your skin looks radiant. Maybe the single blush shade Pretty in Peony is similar if you just want the single?
