Thousands have made the New Year’s Resolution that they will make an effort to live a healthier life. For some, it’s as simple as becoming a bit more active or saying no to that second helping. Some are even taking it a step further and dare I say it.. giving up sweets. Then there is that select group that vows to get back in the gym or even take the step to join a gym. Let’s face it, social media’s made working out in the gym a bit intimidating and let’s not talk about those “in the middle of my workout selfies” that always end up looking more awkward than sexy. Since I know first hand how intimidating the gym can be, you know with all those six pack showing midriffs and all, I’ve put together a Pretty Girls Guide to Accessorizing For the Gym. These six items will have you looking like an elite gym goer. Of course, once you look this good working out is optional.

Those headphones are super cute, I’d probably save them for post-workout though.. ear sweat (yep, it’s a thing – don’t judge me) killed my last pair of over-ear headphones.
Ha! I know all about ear sweat which is why I liked ear buds, but these make you look cooler.
I love me some BRIGHT sneakers!!
That stuff is so my style. Love your picks!
I love that gym bag. That is so hot.
Those Solange shoes are so incredibly off the wall crazy which means I LOVE them. Too afraid to switch up my running shoes, though. No matter how crappy they are. Ha!
I’m all about a germ shield, and I love that that towel can also store your accessories! I’m always at a loss for where to put them when the studio doesn’t have lockers.
I NEED those shoes.
Who knew there was a protocol for gym wear. Very interesting, indeed. And now, I know.
