People have mixed emotions when it comes to winter. The start of winters signals the singing of Christmas Carols and decking of the halls as people began to get ready for the holidays. To others, winter unleashes a dread as the air becomes dryer and the cold begins to reek havoc on one’s skin. Last winter I dealt with extreme dry itchy skin that led to many nights of praying that I’d fall asleep before I gave into the urge to scratch. I probably will never forget the cold showers or the constant worry that I’d run out of body butter before the season would end. According to the groundhog, we still have about six more weeks of winter and while I may have escaped the intense itching episodes I am still battling with patches of ugly dry itchy skin.
One of my all time go to lotion brands has been Vaseline Intensive Care as it’s proven time and time again to keep even the driest areas of my skin moisturized. The Vaseline Intensive Care Healing Serum is the newest addition to the Vaseline Family and brings the power of highly concentrated, healing ingredients to their first ever body serum! This serum is unique in that it does more than treat superficial symptoms and it actually provides dry skin with 10x the healing power! (Moisturizes to visibly heal dry skin by 10x over time.)
What I like about these new Vaseline Intensive Care Healing Serum lotions is that it comes in three different formulas. As everyone’s skin doesn’t have the same needs this product is made so that you can pick the formula that is best for you. There’s Deep Repair, Radiance Restore .and Advanced Relief. Each formula contains three superior quality ingredients. PPAR Activators, Elastomers, and Vaseline Jelly which work together to moisturize and heal dry skin. I’ve tried all three formulas and I find that I’m absolutely loving the advanced release for night time after my shower. In the mornings, I apply Radiance Restore to my upper body where I’m having the most trouble with dry dull skin and deep repair to my lower body. If you’re not quite sure which formula is a great fit for you check out information on each below.
1. Vaseline Intensive Care Healing Serum Radiance Restore:
Moisturizes to heal and restore radiance to dry dull skin and contains deep aromas fo cocoa butter enlivened by the distinctive essence of black currant.
2. Vaseline Intensive Care Healing Serum Advanced Release:
Moisturizes to heal and calm severely dry skin. Gentle on skin and contains the soft scent of rose and amber blending with the refined aroma of vanilla.
3. Vaseline Intensive Care Healing Serum Deep Repair:
Deeply moisturizes to heal rough, cracked skin. Contains a rich classic scent, combining fragrant notes of amber, jasmine, and sandalwood.
Each of these Vaseline Intensive Care formulas retails for only $7.99 so why not grab all three! For more information on this new collection visit the Vaseline website. Also, be sure to check out the Vaseline Facebook page to see what other great things the brand has in store.
Let’s chat it up! What do you use to help with your skin during the cold winter months?
Vaseline sponsored this blog post. The opinions and text are all mine.
I LOVE Vaseline Brand but how did I not realize how many different formulas they have? I definitely hate the effects winter has on my skin. Dry patches are something I fight every year. Thanks for such a great review…I will definitely be adding a few of these to my skin routine asap.
that is great lotion. I have dry skin especially in the winter. I need to try the healing serum
I have been really bad at keeping my skin moisturize this winter. I have been so focus on my skincare and hair routine that I kinda neglected the rest of my body. Vaseline lotions are such a beauty staple, my mom loves them but right now I’m looking for a natural cream.
I love Vaseline! I was just telling my husband we used it in Chicago growing up to coat our legs and keep us warm. I am so glad that they have branched out to lotions and more. Great brand. Love the pictures.
Chile you are talking to the queen of dry, cracked winter skin (thankfully, I don’t have to deal with itching)! Currently, I’ve been using shea butter blends. I find that even with those I still have to add just a touch of water to help seal in the moisture. I love that they created three different types of the serum depending on your individual skin type.
