Thank you May for bringing the warm weather with you! It’s actually starting to feel like Spring in Philadelphia! The weekend has been absolutely amazing, though I’ve had to spend a majority of the time indoors at work (missing The Make Up Show), I couldn’t help but to take advantage of this glorious weather and snap a couple of pictures of my new outfit which I felt was perfectly appropriate for this sunny day. During the warmer months, I love to play around with bold colors and prints. So when I happened upon this floral pencil skirt on Asos I had to throw it in my cart. There is even a matching top that I am definitely eying as both pieces are interchangeable. Today I kept the skirt playful by pairing it with a Loft Lace Blossom Tee that picked up during a flash sale for only $15. I love the versatility of this shirt you can pair it with a pair of jeans for a cute casual look or dress it up with the skirt. The shirt is sort of boxy, but I like how it was light and airy even paired with a tank underneath. I wore this outfit to Natural Hair Bloggers brunch hosted by Dark and Lovely and received many compliments on each piece. I call that a win especially when both pieces cost a combined $44. I was looking for the perfect bag to carry with this outfit and I couldn’t decide what to grab (which shows you I have too many bags). My Husband being so brilliant suggested I pair this outfit with the Brahmin bag he got me as a wedding gift. It was as perfect fit!
