Last fall I told you all about the new DavidsTea store that opened in King of Prussia Mall PA. I was always intimidated by tea until they gave me a crash course in how easy it is to steep and enjoy. None of that pinky’s up stuff. DavidsTea is all about having fun with your tea and they have some new exciting flavors to prove it. DavidsTea has sweetened up summer with five brand new limited edition iced teas – all inspired by classic malt shop treats. Imagine enjoying a nice hot or iced cold cup of tea and floating back in time with flavors like Banana Split, Cotton Candy, and Shirley Temple.
The people over at DavidsTea were kind enough to send over an Old Timey Treats Collection along with the new Nordic Summer Mug for me to try. I absolutely love the Nordic Mug. The balloons change colors when your tea is ready so you never have to guess if your tea has steeped long enough. The Old Timey Treats Collection contains all five of the limited edition teas as well as three rock candies. Talk about a flashback, when was the last time you had rock candy?
The pouches in the Old Timey Collection contain enough tea in each pouch to make a couple of cups. each tea ranges in price from $8.50- $9.50 for 2 oz. Here is a description of the teas in the Old Timey Treats box.
Banana Split (Rooibos): There’s no more perfect dessert than a classic banana split. And with chocolate, banana and sweet meringue, this rich and creamy treat brings the taste of the soda fountain treat right to your teacup. Now you can have sundae… every day.
Black Cherry (Black Tea): When it comes to summer picnics, barbecues and pool parties, there’s no drink more classic than a black cherry soda. And this sweet and refreshing black tea perfectly captures the taste of that fruity, fizzy treat.
Cotton Candy (Rooibos) This tea was developed with our favorite carnival treat in mind. (Notice the cotton candy pieces? This is why DavidsTea is so much fun!) It combines nut brittle, candied mango and cotton candy sprinkles with a smooth sweet base of red rooibos. The result? All the fun and flavor of the real thing, at next to no calories.
Mango Fruit Punch: With sweet pineapple, rich mango, tangy tangerine slices, and pretty marigold blossoms, this blend has everything we look for in a summer drink. It’s guaranteed to punch up any summer party. A tasty low-sugar treat for kids
Organic Shirley Temple is a fruity mix of berries, hibiscus and orange is our take on the classic, designed to please kids and grownups alike. Try it over ice with a splash of ginger ale for a summer drink fit for a star. Don’t forget the cherry on top!
There is also an array of limited edition selection of gifts and tea- making accessories to help you steep deliciously nostalgic iced teas that satisfy any sweet tooth.
CERAMIC MILK BOTTLES. Got tea? These super cute ceramic milk bottles are this season’s must-have accessory. Each comes with a soft silicone lid and a BPA-free, reusable plastic straw. I am a huge fan of teas and these all sound pretty fantastic. I love the packaging too. You know that I am a packaging freak though. WHen companies care enough to make the delivery of their product fantastic I know the product itself will be to.
Oh wow, you have me curious about this brand. I looked over the list of teas that you mention with hopes of noting a favorite. The Black Cherry and Mango Fruit Punch caught my eye first. Since moving to the Middle East, I have really gotten into teas more and I’d love to try these.
Your photos are so pretty! I would love to try this tea. I bet it all tastes really good too.
I have not tried David’s tea. The flavors sound amazing. I am trying to imagine the aroma of the Mango Fruit Punch and Cotton Candy. I bet they are as good as their scent. I love tea and I will definitely look for these flavors.
All of these seem so great! I would love to try all of them really.
These are really interesting flavors. I laud the makers of this tea. I will never see tea the same way again after getting my hands on these. I just hope that I still get the benefits from tea. Thanks for sharing these treats and good luck to your blog!
There is nothing like a good cup of tea. I have not heard of this company before, sounds like they have some great tea blends. I love the mug as well, its super cute too.
Wow I would love to try their limited edition teas. I’m so into the different aromas and flavors of teas as they’re refreshing and soothing at the same time. Cotton Candy and Banana Split sounded most interesting!
I’ve never tried David’s tea before! These flavors sound wonderful! I really want to try the Black Cherry and the Organic Shirley temple. I’m mainly a coffee drinker, but I love an occasional cup of tea. I can’t wait to go find these and try them out!
I’m a huge coffee and tea fan and like some flavors, but sometimes I feel the flavors go too far out there. The Black Cherry sounds wonderful but I’m not sure we have that brand around here. I’ll have to check it at a couple of locations or stores which has a large selection of tea.
I am a really big tea fan, especially those that include fruits or exotic spice! Taking a time out daily with a lovely and unique flavor tea really does energize me! I have never heard of this brand, but will be checking it out soon! Thank you for highlighting it to me!
