I love snapping photos. It’s absolutely one of my favorite things to do and my husband will tell you I’ll snap photos at the most inopportune times because to me that’s what makes the most memorable moments. Whenever we go on a trip I’m always trying to figure out the best way to bring my camera and camera gear along with me. I have a couple of camera bags but none that would let me bring everything for those “just in case” kind of moments. Recently I was given the opportunity to try out and review one of the coolest camera bags that I’ve ever laid eyes on. Actually it’s not really a camera bag but a backpack instead!
The INCASE DSLR Pro Camera Backpack has proven itself to be a game changer, well at least for me. The DSLR Pro Camera Backpack is Incase’s largest-capacity camera bag that fits your camera, laptop, iPhone, and accessories. I mean it literally fits absolutely everything so there’s no leaving anything behind.
The hubs and I took the backpack packed with all my essential camera gear out to a friend’s house who lives by the water. The INCASE DSLR Pro Camera Backpack fit perfectly on my husband’s back as well as my own without feeling too cumbersome or too heavy. Since I’m a lot smaller than my husband all I had to do was tighten the straps to fit my frame. I had no issues with them slipping off or digging into my shoulders. It was actually pretty light weight and the durable nylon and padded shoulder pads made the bag comfortable enough to wear for long periods or time.
There are two ways to access your camera gear. The first is through a zipper compartment at the top of the bag and the second is through a large zippered compartment at the back of the bag. The large zippered compartment contains a padded customizable area that allows you to create compartments to specifically fit your lens and camera. There is even a compartment that holds a small tripod. Though if you want to bring your large tripod you can always clip it to the side of the backpack itself.
There are also three compartments on the inside flat of the bag which allows you to store extra batteries, cables, cards, and anything else you might need.
Now if you flip the bag over and open it as if it were a regular bookbag you can see where you can store a 15-inch laptop as well as a tablet. There is also room for notebooks, a mouse, your cell phone, wallet, pens etc. Can you see why I am in love now? the only thing I can’t store in this bag are my umbrellas.
You’re probably thinking that a bag like this cost a pretty penny, but it definitely doesn’t. This bag retails for only $149.99! If you compare it with the functionality, comfort, and durability of other bags out there it’s well worth the price. If you’re an amateur photographer that wants to look pro, or if you’re a pro photographer looking for a stylish and safe way to transport all your camera gear this is definitely the bag for you. If you love the design of the Pro Camera backpack but don’t have as much gear INCASE has several other camera bag options available that can safely fit your Gopro camera or Point and Shoot. There are even cases, sleeves, and accessory bags to help you keep whichever bag you like organized. Be sure to head over to INCASE and check out the

Oh, now this is really cool. I was just talking to my husband the other day about looking for something that we could transport our camera in when we hike. This looks like it would work perfectly. The price is really nice too. Thanks so much for this great review.
My Mom is super huge into photography and has these massive lenses basically the size of my upper thigh, so she usually passes down her old equipment and other camera gear down to my husband, who is also super into it. Something about your husband in that pic reminded me of mine – rockin’ the pack with the huge ol’ camera in it. 🙂 Looks like a decent one to carry the gear in though, I’m impressed.
i ABSOLUTELY will be looking into buying one of these! I did not know they existed but it certainly would help me not leave anything behind! Doing that is embarrassing, especially when you have to figure out the next day where you indeed left it at an event! Camera equipment is expensive enough, without losing valuable pieces!
Good looking out, thanks for putting the incase DSLR Pro Camera Backpack on my radar! Honestly I just shove my DSLR into whatever purse I am using and I really need to do better by my DSLR camera so it will go the distance and last me a longtime! Now do those backpacks come with a guy to camera the equipment for me too? LOL
I now love this backpack. Gone are the days when you have to carry a special bag for your cameras. This bag will surely make traveling a lot easier and comfortable.
I appreciate having more than one access to my camera gear especially at time when I need to quickly get my cam to take snapshots. This backpack is also great for travelers and those who love to hike. The compartments are nice, making it easy and convenient to store items.
Cameras are precious, especially when you are a travel blogger, so you need to take care of it. This backpack looks really nice and it keeps your camera protected. You did a great review on this one.
There’s nothing better than the feeling of being organized while shooting. When doing planned shoots, I love having everything right in place for better ease. This Pro-Camera Backpack seems to be exactly what a pro or amateur shooter needs. It certainly beats the handling system I currently have.
Great Bag for sure! I have a similar backpack and it definitly comes in handy for those longer adventures where you want to be sure you have everything you could need to capture the memories. I love the dividers and the space dedicated to your laptop and/or ipad.
This look like a great backpack. Does it have a waist strap? I have scoliosis and have been looking for a new camera bag, but I have to have a waist/hip strap to take the weight off my upper back. This one looks like it would be just what I need as long as it has a waist strap.
However, to be a great pack I’d recommend, Incase really needs to fix 2 things they’ve overlooked. First is going the cheap route and leaving metal pull tabs off of the main zipper.
