The Changing of the Guard- Clothes Edition

This post was sponsored by SocialStar. I also love using Tide Pods so all opinions on them are my own. #TideThat

Now that we’ve had a couple of back to back days where the weather has required me to leave the house with a jacket I think it’s time to make the switcheroo and pull out my cold weather clothes and put away all my summer fashions. I like to call it the changing of the guard as I do the same thing with my handbags as I’m putting away the brighter colors like the Neon Kate Spade for fall winter shades likes this 3.1 Phillip Lim 31 Hour Bag in camo or the Oxblood Dagne Dover.

When I bring my clothes out of storage I like to make sure that they smell fresh and are ready to wear as sometimes clothes can take on a stale smell. To get my clothes wear ready, I put them in the washing machine and then toss in a Tide Pod. Tide Pods are super easy to use. None of that measuring or wasting powder all over the floor the Tide Pods make laundry easy for you. All you need is one or two pods depending on how the size of the load.

Another great thing about Tide Pods is that that they have this amazing 3-n-1 formula which contains the detergent, the stain remover, and a brightener. During the “changing of the guard” we also wash our summer sheets and comforters before we store them. Since this is a huge load we usually take it to the laundry mat so that we can get it all done in one fell swoop. Of course, we bring our Tide Pods along as they work in any type of machine be it  a top loading or front loading. They also dissolve easily in cold or warm water making them perfect to use no matter what type of cycle your clothes require.
