I always get excited about the Holiday kits that are launched from by Make Up For Ever. Last year it was this amazing train case that contained 30 full size products and this year it’s the Make Up For Ever Artist Plexi-gloss collection set. 35 shades of the Artist Plexi-glosses were released back in April retailing for $19 each. The Make Up For Ever Artist Plexi-gloss collection features 12 Full Size Plexi-glosses and retails for only $150. Of course I took advantage of my VIB Rouge discount to make this an even better deal!
The Make Up For Ever Artist Plexi-gloss have intense shine and amazing color. Its pigments are packed with Plexi Color Technology to deliver up to five hours of color impact while reflective shine beads maximize shine. The wand differs from that of other glosses in that it’s a duo foot wand which allows for easier application of the gloss though for some it could take some getting used to. The Collection contails 12 shades of Plexi-gloss in sheer, shimmer, and opaque formulas.
Many people have expressed concern in the formula of this gloss. Yes, this gloss is thicker than your average lipgloss. The great thing about it is that you don’t need to apply as much in order to get the same great shine. I’ve worn these glosses bare as well as over lipstick and I feel that if you don’t want that tacky feeling they are best over lipstick.
The Make Up For Ever Artist Plexi-gloss collection contains such a great range of shades. I love how there are nudes, pinks, oranges and even vampy purples. This set is also great for those who love lipglosses but aren’t sure exactly what colors to get. Out of the 35 I feel that there are only two shades that I am missing before I feel my collection is complete. Check out swatches of the shades below and you’ll see why this set is a must have for your collection. This set can be picked up from your local Make Up For Ever Boutique, Sephora.com and MakeUpForEver.com. Want to se what else Make Up For Ever has in store for the Holiday’s?
