My morning routine is made up of the usual choirs like showering along with hair and makeup, but now that the weather’s changed and were transitioning from fall to winter I’ve had to add in a some new steps to make sure I’m ready for the day. With the weather becoming colder, my skin is a lot more susceptible to becoming dry and itchy. It’s not enough that I just put on any kind of lotion. The lotion I use has to be able to protect and keep my skin moisturized. This is why I’m using Curel Itch Defense line.
It’s very important to change your body wash when the season change. During the colder months, you want a body wash that is going to get you clean, but at the same time put back essential oils. This is why I start off with the Curel Itch Defense Body wash. It’s clinically proven to stop itch before it starts. It also contains moisturizing oils like Jojoba and Olive oil.
After my shower, I then make sure to apply lotion while I’m my skin is still damp. By doing this, I’m making sure that I’ve locked in the moisture. The great thing about the Curel Itch Defense lotion is that it rebalances ph levels and moisture in the skin. I use the lotion in combination with the Curel Itch Defense Moisturizing Spray. It’s my favorite thing to use for getting those hard to reach places. Both are scentless so no matter how much I use I don’t have to worry about overpowering smells and they both soothe skin irritation caused by eczema.
