Each store has a different policy on how they operate with coupons and how they calculate their customer rewards, so learning the store/rewards policy will not only save you time at the cash register, but it will guarantee you have a great couponing experience. Some stores even offer digital coupons. Digital coupons are great because no clipping is required and you have instant access to them via your smartphone. Pairing Digital coupons with clipped coupons can save a lot of money.
Step # 3 Buy what you need:
We all have watched those extreme crazy couponing shows. Even though they are entertaining its important to make sure that you buy only what you need. The rule of thumb is when the item is at its lowest price buy enough that will last you and your family three months. Most items go sale at their lowest price in a three-month cycle. So don’t worry about filling your medicine cabinet with that particular item, it will go on sale again in three months.
