Now that I’ve shared with you all the items from my winter capsule wardrobe I had the grand idea to start snapping pictures of each outfit as I wore them. However, there is one slight problem. My husband leaves super early in the morning for work and I haven’t even budged from the bed before he’s out the door. To remedy this, I had the grand idea that I would shoot my own OOTD photos. I mean I have a tripod, I have a remote control for my camera and I have lights. How hard could it be?
For my first Winter Capsule Wardrobe outfit, I’m wearing my super soft Shearling Vest paired with my dark denim Levi’s in the 314 style which are perfect for us curvy girls, and Naturalizer Knee boots. As I mentioned before since I work in a lab environment my style is comfy cute. Comfortable enough for the long periods of standing but cute enough not to look like a broke grad student. Under the vest, I wore a simple long sleeved cream top that I picked up from Loft last year. As you can see I have a special guest in my picture. That’s my dog Jujubee. She loves hanging out in my office studio. I believe she secretly thinks that I purchased that carpet just for her.
