It’s back to school time and hopefully, this will be my VERY LAST semester in school! Each year I like to try something new to start the school year off fresh. Last year I chopped my hair completely off in an undercut style which was probably one of the boldest things I’d ever did with my hair. Some people loved it, my grandmother hated it, but all in all, it was a pretty awesome style that proved to be a lot more maintenance than I originally thought. So, this year I decided that I was over my tapered cut (again) and I wanted to grow it out so I could rock big funky hair again. The easiest way I figured I could do this was to weave it up. Thank God, I never sold all that Indique hair that I purchased a few years ago.

For my new look, I had the Indique Bounce Organic Curl hair installed and I am absolutely loving it. It’s big, bold, and carefree just like me. Unfortunately, this isn’t a one and done type of style so to make sure my curls are #bringingoutthebold every day I go through a small bit of prep by spritzing the hair with water and finger combing it with some of my favorite Curl Enhancing Products. One of the best ways to avoid frizz is to keep your hands out of your hair! This is so hard for me as I just love to run my fingers through the curls. So to keep myself preoccupied I start my oral hygiene routine. I consider my smile to be one of my best assets and I’m super anal about how my mouth feels after brushing. My husband hates when I go buy new toothbrushes because I’m not just picking one with the best color combos ya know. I want a toothbrush that’s going to really clean my pearly whites. Lately, I’ve been loving the Phillips Sonicare Tooth Brush as it removes 6x more plaque than a manual toothbrush. To follow up I swish around some LISTERINE® ULTRACLEAN® and I can walk away confident my teeth are clean and protected.
Another new thing I’ve been doing as of late is playing with different color eyeliners. Now, don’t get my wrong I love a good black on the waterline, but I thought it’d be more fun to switch things up a bit. Contrary to popular belief I don’t wear makeup every day, but when I do you can betcha there’s going to be a bold fun color on my waterline. After I’ve got my curls poppin’, teeth cleaned, and makeup applied I add a bold lip color to round things off.
