We’re all pretty much over winter am I right? It’s gotten to the point where I honestly feel like some of Winters antic’s are a personal attack against me, my ever growing to do list and the need for my legs to get some sun. If the weathers got you down in the dumps, you might find your spirits rising after you see the latest products launched from NARS featuring spring hues and bold colors that make you want to pack up your winter coat and bring out your cute peep toe shoes.
The NARSissist Wanted collection wants you to raise your profile and play with power. This is the second round of limited cheek palettes for this particular collection. Nars blush palettes have always been a favorite of mine, and the formula of the blush in these palettes are the same as those found in the permanent collection. Wanted I and Wanted II are both a mix of shimmers and mattes with Wanted I having two shimmer shades and Wanted II having three. Wanted I contain the more subtle pastel shades with a pop of cool coral while Wanted II is screaming bold and powerful with its deep raspberry, golds, and reds. Instantly my eyes were drawn to the shades in the Wanted II palette as I felt the colors would work beautifully with my medium brown skin.

Also found within the NARSissist Wanted collection are the NARSissist Wanted Power Pack Lip Kits. I never leave home without at least two PowerMatte lipsticks in my bag. The formula is to die over. Now with a select few of the PowerMatte coming in these travel-friendly sized shade, there is really no excuse why you shouldn’t be carrying them either. There are two sets of the limited edition Wanted Power Packs, nude and red, featuring three new shades. Two of which are found in the Nude pack.

The second new collection to be released by NARS was their Change of Sheen Highlighting Powder $38. In six illuminating shades, this second skin luster blends effortlessly and fuses seamlessly for the ultimate natural-looking glow. Each shade was inspired by the beauty of sun-drenched islands and exotics sights which explains how each of the palettes acquired their names.
What I really enjoy about the Nars Highlighting Powders is that they are soft and subtle compared to other highlighters on the market. Since I’m used to those other products on the market having glitter or metallics I figured I’d swipe my finger across the top and watch it immediately start to glow. That didn’t happen until after the third swipe, meaning these are perfect for those who’d like to have a little glow without the ultralight booming effect. They’re also buildable, which means if you want more glow just keep applying or reach for one of the NARS Multiple Sticks.
