The biggest day in shopping is upon on us, and while I wish I could take home everything on my wish list, this year I’m sitting Black Friday out. My goal is to max out my Roth IRA before the year ends and well, the amount I’d be spending would surpass what I need to make sure I’m meeting my retirement goals. With my brand Broke on Purpose®, I’m making sure that I purposely plan my finances. This basically means I plan and save for all my big shopping sprees even if it means that I don’t get to take part in the biggest shopping day of the year. It’s about prioritizing what I need over what I might want.
With that being said I still try to make the most out of whatever deals are available to me at the time and strategically shop based on sale seasons, and I have an inkling that the item that I’m coveting is going to go on sale.
You all know that I’ve been shopping at Shopbop for years. I can always count on them to have some great items and even special discounts for their loyalty members. Right now Shopbop has their Thanksgiving Sale where you can buy more and save more.
My Shopbop wishlist is full of shoes, and right now I love the See by Chloe brand. Even though this is a sister brand of the fashion house Chloe, the designs and styles are very close to the original. I purchased my first pair of See By Chloe boots (see photo below) a few years ago and they’ve been a staple within my wardrobe ever since. This year I have my eye on a some See by Chloe boots and a few of original Chloe inspired handbags to add to my collection.
